Essential Emotion Coaching Skills for Parents
Workshop co-sponsored by the Parent Association and Jewish Family Service

John Gottman's seminal research on understanding and validating the emotional lives of children offers parents new strategies that strengthen the parent/child bond and help children increase their social emotional skills. Key concepts of emotion coaching for parents will be presented through lecture, video, and practice scenarios by Julie Metzger RN, MN, co-founder of Great Conversations. Advance registration encouraged; $12/person, $18/couple; scholarships available; babysitting available if requested by March 8. Schedule a school visit or guided tour of any of our special events by contacting our Development Office. Special events include Celebration of the Arts, Math Madness, Purim Celebration, Science Fair, Virtual Trip to Israel, 5th Grade Celebration of Learning, Siddur Ceremony, Holocaust Remembrance Day, Torah Celebration, Sh'tilim Authors' Day, and the SJCS Annual Meeting. You may also plan to attend an Oneg Shabbat any Friday school is in session.
